VETERAN-SPECIFIC PHARMACY SERVICES

Veterans (gold, white and orange card holders) can access a range of free or subsidised pharmacy services. Access may depend upon veteran’s eligibility
and is ultimately at the discretion of the Department of Veterans’ Affairs.

REHABILITATION APPLIANCES PROGRAM

The Rehabilitation Appliances Program (RAP) provides aids, equipment and modifications to help our clients to live safely and independently. Equipment
supplied under this program includes blood pressure machines, diabetes supplies, compression garments, continence products and more.The
process starts with an assessment by a GP, specialist or allied health professional (e.g. a physiotherapist). The RAP program determines
limits of what can be supplied, and through which provider. Your pharmacy may be able to help guide you to source RAP products
once they have been ordered by your prescriber.

DOSE ADMINISTRATION AIDS

The DAA service provides veterans – and those dependents with a Veteran Card – with a medicine organiser pack (also
known as a Webster Pack) to make it easier to take the right dose of medicine at the right time. Veterans' DAAs are provided
free of charge when ordered by a prescriber.

RPBS MEDICINES

The range of medicines available under the Repatriation Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (RPBS) is more comprehensive than those available therough the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS). This list is subject to change; a DVA prescription is required to access these products at reduced prices. Conditions apply to some prescriptions.
Medicines not listed on the RPBS may be available with RPBS subsidy; conditions and criteria vary; only your doctor can apply for RPBS subsidy through the Veterans' Affairs Pharmaceutical Advisory Centre (VAPAC) on 1800 552 580.
