The Cerebral Palsy Alliance is a national organisation with a clear ACT presence, providing support for patients with cerebral palsy and a range of other brain/neurological conditions. Funds donated are used to purchase specialist equipment; recent examples of purchases include:
· Specialised wheelchairs/activity chairs which can lift any size child for access to activities
· Telehealth support packs (iPad, webcams, data packs, switch toys)
· Body Trak: a device which maps pressure distribution on wheelchair surfaces and reduces pressure sores.
· Eye Gaze communication software
