Full-time and Part-time Pharmacist Positions Available!

Capital Chemist O’Connor is Canberra’s original late night pharmacy and continues to serve the community every day of the year from 8am to 11pm.

We are looking for pharmacists who are self-motivated, reliable, and will provide exceptional patient care. Newly registered pharmacists are encouraged to apply.

The requirements for the role:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent)
  • Current general registration with AHPRA (without conditions or undertakings)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work in a team environment as well as independently
  • Able to manage time efficiently
  • Current first aid, CPR and Immunisation qualifications
  • Able to work flexible hours which may include nights, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Desirable: Experience with Fred Dispense, experience with MethDA and electronic DD book, and current Opioid Replacement Therapy certificate.

Pharmacy/Webster Technician - Full time

Capital Chemist Palmwoods has an opportunity for a Full-Time Pharmacy/ Webster Technician to join our team.

We are looking for someone who will thrive on challenges, be able to work under pressure, be highly motivated and have a high attention to detail.

Previous pharmacy experience preferred but training will be offered to the successful candidate.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist the Pharmacy in the day to day running.

Full-time Pharmacist Position

Capital Chemist Mittagong is looking for a full-time pharmacist. Newly registered pharmacists are welcome to apply.

 Pharmacist intern position

Capital Chemist Curtin is looking for a pharmacist intern for 2021!

The role involves supporting our pharmacists and helping to drive professional services including vaccinations, specialists testing, Impromy, woundcare, leave certificates, compounding and supplying IVF medications.

Lots of training and support provided with our experienced and knowledgeable dispensary team. We also offer development and growth opportunities, with additional workshops, courses or certifications for the suitable candidate.

Regular duties will include:

  • General dispensing
  • Leave certificates and vaccinations under the supervision of a pharmacist
  • Dose aid administration tasks
  • Dispensary stock control
  • Taking in and handing out scripts
  • Counselling patients about new medicines
  • Complex compounding

 Capital Chemist Waramanga is looking for a permanent Saturday Pharmacist to do 9am-2pm.

We are flexible with days but prefer at least 2 Saturdays per month or all 4 for the right person.

Start date from 17th October, then alternating Saturdays to start.

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written are a must.

Preferable to have experience with methadone (1 client only) and knowledge of the webster pak system. (Packing not needed, but the odd emergency change)
