Our pharmacists, having undertaken extra training, are now able to diagnose and prescribe certain antibiotics for uncomplicated urinary tract infections, sometimes called cystitis, for women following a private consultation.
Symptoms of a UTI or cystitis may include: pain or a burning sensation during urination, increased frequency of urination and a feeling of the need to urinate even when the bladder is empty.
Age and specific health considerations may limit the availability of this service for certain patients.
