One of Canberra's oldest local charities, Pegasus takes great pride in delivering therapeutic horse-facilitated programs and activities to people living with a disability in Canberra and the local region. The Capital Chemist Group is proud to support this fantastic charity.

Here are some photos of the recent visit at Pegasus to see our new acquisitions, 4 mini horses. Jubilee long fringe, Peppermint all black, Leroy black with markings, Blondie all white.

Amelia loved visiting the new horses. She has a very rare condition, 4 known cases in Australia, Amelia, and her brother make up 50% of the cases. She has Epileptic Encephalopathy/Genetic Epilepsy. The horses put a huge smile on her face, she loved spending the day riding and looking after them.

Our sponsorship with Pegasus helps stable and support a pony, and funds are made available for an annual scholarship to allow a child with a disability to learn to ride. We also support their fund-raising efforts for their golf day and other events throughout the year.
