1. What is Click & Collect?
Click & Collect is a service that allows you to place an order online and then collect your order at your Capital Chemist Pharmacy.
2. What does it cost?
Our Click & Collect service is free of charge.
3. What products are available for Click & Collect?Click & Collect is available for all of the items on capitalchemist.com.au.
4. Can I split my order for home delivery and Click & Collect?We are not able to accept a single order that includes items for Click & Collect services as well as items for home delivery, so in these cases you will need to place two separate orders – one for collection and one for delivery.
5. Which stores offer Click & Collect?All our online trading pharmacy offer click & collect service.
6. How long does it take?Your order will be ready to collect within 24hrs, excluding weekends and public holidays. You will receive an email confirmation once your order is ready to collect.
7. How will I know when my order is ready to collect?You will receive an email once your order is ready.
8. Can someone else collect the order on my behalf?For security reasons, only the person who placed the order will be able to collect any purchases. However, you can contact the Pharmacy with who you placed the order to make alternative arrangements.
9. Can I change or cancel my Click & Collect order?The best way to cancel an order is to call the pharmacy to which you made the order with (pharmacy store details will be displayed on the confirmation email you receive when placing the order).
10. How long are orders kept for collection?Orders will be kept for up to 14 days from the time you receive your initial collection email.
11. I’ve collected my order, but it isn’t what I was after. Can I return Click & Collect purchases?Yes. If a product is not right, we are happy to provide a refund in accordance with our refunds policy.
12. Do I need to bring any form of ID or confirmation with me when I collect my order?Yes please bring photographic ID and print out your confirmation email which contains your order number and bring it along when collecting, or alternatively show the in-store staff member your email on your phone.
13. What happens if a pharmacist recommends an alternative product to the one I have purchased?The professional responsibility of a pharmacist is to ensure that the products supplied are going to provide the best benefit for our customers, particularly for medicines. In instances where a pharmacist decides there is a better alternative for your circumstance, or a product ordered online is not required from a clinical perspective, they will let contact you by phone or take the time to discuss alternatives with you when you arrive to collect your items. A refund for the purchase price will be arranged, and a new transaction can then take place in the pharmacy.
