Leave certificates at Capital Chemist
There’s nothing worse than waking up feeling
tired, aching, or having congestion. Coming down with a cold or the flu isn’t
pleasant for anyone - and on top of that, you then have to make the decision
between getting yourself a workplace leave certificate and staying home to
recover, or ‘soldiering on’ and going into work regardless.
We know that the first few days of coming down
with a cold are when you’re at you’re most contagious, so it’s always a good
idea to consider the health and wellbeing of your colleagues and stay home. Not
only that but giving your body time to rest means that you can bounce back
faster from illness and feel better before you know it.
Many people find booking an appointment with
their GP just to get a leave certificate to be time-consuming and inconvenient.
At Capital Chemist, we can help.
Next time you’ve woken up with a cold or the
flu, visit your local Capital Chemist to speak with your friendly pharmacist.
Not only can they recommend treatments to help alleviate your symptoms, but
they can also issue you with a workplace leave certificate.
It couldn’t be easier - all you need to do is
pop into your local Capital Chemist and chat to your pharmacist, or book an appointment online. The pharmacist
will conduct a short interview, issue you with a certificate if appropriate; a
fee will be charged.
It’s not just cold and flu that we can issue
workplace leave or carers certificate for, but also short-term, self-limiting
conditions that typically fall into the pharmacist’s normal scope of practice,
like stomach upset, migraine or back pain.
It’s important to know that conditions apply:
two days is the maximum length of time that your pharmacist can issue a
certificate for, and they cannot be backdated.
