    Blisters are fluid filled skin lesions resulting from prolonged friction, particularly on the palms of the hands or the heel of the foot, although they can form in any location where the body comes into contact with a lot of friction; walking shoes are a typical example
  • The friction induces heat which, associated locally with perspiration, generate the blister or even some burns.

    Do not use on an infected wound unless recommended by a physician
  • If the wound bleeds or is swollen or painful within 7 days, seek medical advice
  • People with Diabetes should consult a physician before using the dressing
  • If you notice signs of infection on the wound site such as pain, redness, swelling or heat, you should seek medical advice.
    Each wallet contains:
    7 x hydrocolloid dressings Assorted shapes and sizes -oval, rectangular and triangular shapes
    Directions fur use:Wash hands before and after applying the dressing
  • Clean blister area with gauze and clean water or Prontosan® and dry gently; if the blister has burst, disinfect it
  • Warm the dressing in your hands for 1 minute
  • Bend dressing and remove the two plastic covers
  • Apply dressing centrally over the blister, gently smoothing down the dressing
  • Peel away the top backing by pulling gently on the green tab
  • Press firmly on the edges
  • Dressing should be left in place for 3 to 5 days
  • To remove, lift the edge of the dressing and stretch it towards you.
