    Blackmores Milk Thistle protects the liver cells through its strong antioxidant activity
  • Traditionally used as a detoxifying agent, it supports regeneration of liver cells and protects against potentially harmful substances such as alcohol
  • Research has endorsed the use of Milk Thistle in the treatment of liver intoxication, however it is more commonly indicated to relieve symptoms of sluggish digestive or liver function (for example inability to digest fats or alcohol)
  • The main active constituents of Milk Thistle are a complex of flavanolignans which are collectively known as silymarin, and include silybin, silydianin and silychristin
  • Silymarin stimulates manufacture of protein in the liver, resulting in an increased production and regeneration of new liver cells replacing old and damaged cells

  • to dry fruit 7g (7000mg), (standardised to contain flavanolignans 84mg).
    Adults: Take one tablet three times daily before meals, or as professionally prescribed
  • Children under 12 years: As professionally prescribed
  • Drink 6-8 glasses of water a day whilst using this product.
